Corsair has announced the availability of an upgrade kit for USB 3.0 front panel of their boxes Obsidian Series 800D and 700D. This kit is designed for users who bought a box of Obsidian supertorres series and have upgraded your license plates with USB 3.0. The kit consists of a replacement front panel, which includes USB 3.0 connectors, and a network of cables to connect to the USB 3.0 ports on the motherboard.
Installation takes no more than a couple of minutes. "Our series of Obsidian boxes are designed and built to perform and last for years and survived several hardware upgrades. So we had to meet the needs of our users upgrade to USB 3.0, "said Ruben Mookerjee, VP and General Manager of Corsair components.
