HTC's press conference at the MWC 2011 has focused not only on the different models of smartphones, but also on the tablet HTC Flyer. This terminal uses a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels and a 1.5 GHz processor, which currently do not have more information. The operating system used is an updated version of Gingerbread Android (Android 2.4) even if HTC could in future update to version 3.0 for tablet.
In any case, the user interface is based on a special version of the same IU Sense HTC optimized for screens large and equipped with 3D effect for the menu item selection. The HTC Flyer provides a frame-aluminum unibody similar to that of the Apple iPad, a 5-megapixel back camera, a 1.3-megapixel front for video calls and a microSDHC slot for memory cards.
The weight stops at just 420 grams. HTC has provided an estimate of consumption by saying that autonomy with the battery pack from 4.000mAh during playback of video and film is 4 hours. Together with the Flyer, HTC provides a capacitive pen to take notes and be able to synchronize with the audio recordings.
Very useful if, during a conference or a university lecture you need to record something.
