The HDX Bone is a stunner: the multimedia box very compact - about the size of an external hard drive 2.5 "- includes a full Android 2.1 platform. Indeed, the PC includes an ARM SoC TCB8900, based on a 720 MHz ARM11 to Mali and a GPU 200 of ARM. It's able to run (slowly) Android 2.1 but also to decode the main material in 1080p codecs (H.264 in particular).
The unit therefore incorporates a CPU with the SoC, some memory, HDMI output and a power network and especially a SATA connector, connected to a 500 GB hard drive Android manages the functions of Media Center, but also Some Android applications classics as they do not need tactile feedback, given the presence of a simple remote control as input device.
