Apple has also developed a method HiDPI which allows developers to more easily adapt their applications to the new resolution.

As a reminder, the firm came up with the term to refer Retina Display screens whose pixels are distinct in principle invisible to the naked eye. If the appellation is primarily a marketing maneuver, the iPhone screen 4 is one of his strengths and one wonders when Apple will install slabs such high resolution on its other products.
