Storm warning in force 410 NZXT

The manufacturer NZXT just launched two new models of medium size boxes in turn: the Tempest 410 and 410 Elite. Displaying the dimensions of 215 x 481 x 496 mm Weight 7.8 kg up, these two cases are identical, except for the Elite version which has a side wall equipped with a window. There are therefore three bays in the format 5.25 inch, eight 3.5-inch internal locations, a mounting system without screws and connectors USB 3.0 (x1) USB 2.0 (x3) and audio placed on the front.

Lianli unveils mini-tower PC case-V600F

The manufacturer Lian Li has announced the launch of PC-V600F, a medium size box to turn entirely of aluminum. Compatible with micro ATX and mini ITX, this box displays the dimensions of 190 x 390 x 470 mm weighing up to 5 kg. It is available in three colors: black, silver and red. The PC-V600F has two 5.25-inch bays format and five internal 3.5-inch slots.

The classic USB 3.0 connectors (x2), eSATA and audio are placed on top, while three 120mm fans are included (two in front equipped with diodes, one rear).

Lian Li PC-A05FN: but what does the power supply here?

Lian Li has launched its PC-A05FN, a housing means all-aluminum tower, showing dimensions of 210 x 385 x 500 mm with a weight of 4.4 kg on the scale. Available in two colors (silver and black), PC-A05FN has two bays and three 5.25-inch format 3.5-inch slots. It also has the classic audio and USB connectors (including USB 3.0) on the front, and two 120 mm fans are placed respectively at the front and back of the case.

TDJ: Corsair Obsidian 650D

Cowcotland just put online a test of the Obsidian 650D Corsair, a medium size box to turn display of measurements of 229 x 546 x 521 mm for a nice 11.1 kg on the scale. Equipped with four 5.25-inch bays format and six internal slots, the 650D carries two 200 mm fans and a 120 mm.

Our fellow Cowcotland recently posted a review of the 600T Graphite White, a Mid Tower case format designed and manufactured by Corsair. Showing the dimensions of 507 x 592 x 265 mm and weighs up to 11.5 kg on the scale, the 600T "Special Edition" White has four bays and six 5.25-inch slots internal 3.5 / 2.5 inches .

Lian-Li Unveils its PC cases and PC-C60-6

The manufacturer Lian-Li has announced the launch of two new cameras: The C60-PC and PC-6. The first is a model living room (HTPC / Desktop) available in two colors (black or silver) while the second is only available in black, is a model for the medium format back. Both cases are all aluminum. Showing the dimensions of 445 x 182 x 410 mm Weight 4.1 kg on the scale, the PC-C60 has two bays in the format 5.25 inch, 3.5-inch six locations (via removable racks) and three 2.5 "sites.

TDJ: SilverStone Grandia GD06

Our fellow Cowcotland recently posted a review of Grandia GD06 SilverStone, a box room, with a steel chassis and an aluminum facade and showing dimensions of 440 x 150 x 340 mm with a weight of 5, 4 kg. The GD06 has a 5.25 inch bay as well as locations for a disk drive (or SSD) 2.5 inch and four 3.5-inch format.

The classic USB 3.0 connectors (x2) and audio are placed before the breakdown of the case being assigned to three 120 mm fans running at 1200 rpm. Verdict?

The 5.25 "updated to help readers Slim

Manufacturers of optical drives and enclosures are working on a new standard 5.25 "optical drives that benefit the slim which are twice smaller but equally broad. The first examples were on display at Computex, according to AnandTech. The 5.25 "drives welcome disks of 4.75" (12 cm). They have adapted to CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray for now.

Readers called skinny are becoming more common. They are found in many laptops and external drives. The problem is that desktop boxes are not officially compatible with the slim drives. In reality, the barebones HTPC and already offer bays for optical drives slim, but they are not designs that meet the official specifications of the standard 5.25 ".

TDJ: Cooler Master 550 Silencio

Showing the dimensions of 415 x 505 x 210 mm and weighing 9.2 kg on the scale, this case has two bays in the format 5.25 inch and 3.5 inch seven locations. Alims two and two cases in Ecomaster

The manufacturer Ecomaster (and behind him Enermax) has launched several new products, namely two power supplies and two boxes: the B750 and B850 LEPA LEPA LPC301 and LPC302 and. 80Plus Certified Bronze, the LEPA B750 and V850 show a maximum efficiency of 88%. Both power supply, a power 750W and 850W respectively up, enjoy an active PFC and have multiple +12 V rails (two for B750, B850 for four) and a 135 mm PWM fan.

Corsair: The Special Edition White 600T

The manufacturer Corsair has launched on the market a special edition of its Series 600T Graphite housing, housing for the occasion which is adorned with white on the outside, but nevertheless takes the classic black interior of 600T. The side panel has a window, may in turn make way for a panel with a metal grille and supports up to four 120 mm fans.

With four bays at 5.25 inches and six locations internal 3.5 / 2.5 inches, the Special Edition White Graphite Series 600T has a built-in fan controller. The conventional audio connectors, FireWire, USB 3.0 (x1) and USB 2.0 (x4) are placed on top of the box, while three fans (two 200 mm respectively placed on the top and front, and one of 120 mm at the rear) are included with the 600T.

Our fellow Cowcotland recently posted a review of the GT 680R MSI, a laptop with a 15.6-inch screen and based on a mobile platform Sandy Bridge. We thus find a Core i7 QM 2720 clocked at 2.3 GHz, 16 GB of DDR3 memory (little excuse), two Intel SSD X25-M mounted 120 GB RAID 0, accompanied by a GTX 460M 1.5 GB memory and Blu-ray/DVD player.

Lian-Li as the housing-snail Special Edition

The manufacturer Lian-Li has just introduced a "Special Edition" of its PC case, U6, a sort of cross between a snail and a mini-tower case. Called PC-U6 Cowry, this model shows the dimensions of 219 x 500 x 410 mm and weighing up to 4.5 kg on the scale. With an aluminum chassis, the PC-CoWRY U6 has a 5.25 inch bay and three internal 3.5 "slots.

Compatible with micro ATX and mini ITX, this box also has two USB 3.0 ports, two eSATA ports and audio connectors, all placed on the front. Entirely black, the PC-CoWRY U6 comes with two 120 mm fans. It can also accommodate a graphics card with a maximum length of 310 mm. Expected by the end of the month, the PC-U6 Cowry should be displayed at a rate of 349 dollars, the equivalent of 242 euros (VAT).

The Precision PS06 SilverStone here soon

The manufacturer's catalog SilverStone grew with the arrival of a new model Mid Tower Case, Precision PS06. Showing the dimensions of 210 x 525 x 520 mm Weight 9.05 kg up on the scale, the PS06 should make its appearance on European soil since 19 May. With five bays in the 5.25-inch format, this box has a screwless mounting system, removable filter and a bay to accommodate the HDD - and SSD - 3.5 inches and 2.5 inches .

The tower case Enermax SpineRex in Europe

Enermax manufacturer has announced the European launch of its case SpineRex, a format model tower displaying dimensions of 544 x 213 x 591 mm. Entirely black, outside and inside, this box is compatible with E-ATX motherboards, ATX and Micro ATX. It has a steel frame and 1 mm SECC has five bays at 5.25 inches.

3.5-inch hard drives - up to eight - will meanwhile take place in dedicated cages, modular. The SpineRex can also accommodate graphics cards with a maximum length of 310.74 mm (337.60 mm if no hard disk does gene). Up to 6 fans can be installed within the housing. Two 120 mm (equipped with light emitting diodes and operating at 1000 revolutions per minute) and a 250 mm (600 to 900 revolutions per minute) are also supplied with SpineRex.

A housing for warriors in Aerocool

Aerocool manufacturer will soon bring to market a new package for gamers and features a design ... except, that is almost frightening: the X-Warrior. Showing the dimensions of 488 x 187 x 520 mm, the X-Warrior has a steel frame 0.5 mm SECC. It has three bays at 5.25 inches, four locations and a 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch.

Of pass partitions are present on the back, while the conventional USB 2.0 and audio connectors are placed on top of the box. Note also the presence of two 120 mm fans, respectively placed at the front and rear of the X-Warrior. Operating at 1500 revolutions per minute, they are "responsible" for achieving noise 26.67 dB (A).

Elysium: the housing size XXL Xigmatek

Xigmatek the manufacturer has announced the launch of Elysium, a tower chassis, showing the dimensions of 230 x 618 x 663 mm with a weight of 15.50 kg on the scale. With a steel chassis, this unit accepts XXL format ITX motherboard, Micro ATX, ATX, E-ATX, ATX-XL or HPTX. Two colors are provided (black or silver).

Twelve 5.25-inch bays are available, along with eight locations in 3.5 inch format. The classic USB 3.0 connectors (x2), USB 2.0 (x2), eSATA and audio are in turn placed on top of the box, next to a dock hot-swap HDD / SSD (2, 5 or 3.5 inches). Cooling side we have allowed two 120 mm fans for the front, a 140-mm rear and 200 mm on the side, places for additional fans of 120 mm, 140 mm and 80 mm being also available.
