Shuttle H7 5800G

The manufacturer Shuttle has unveiled two new mini PC as he knows them so well: the 5800G Pro H7 (oriented "gamers") and H7 Pro 5800P (oriented workstation). Both are based on an XPC box displays the dimensions of 190 x 208 x 326 mm and a platform for Intel LGA 1366. The H7 5800G Pro embeds so a Core i7-950, i7-975 and i7-980X EE depending on the version (a liquid cooling kit IC E is optional), up to 16 GB of RAM and a maximum of 2 hard drives (or SSD and HDD).

H3 6700G Shuttle: XPC for a player

The manufacturer Shuttle has unveiled its H3 6700G, an XPC Barebone SH67H3 based on and for players in need of space. Inside the aluminum box is hidden a motherboard chipset H67, Sandy Bridge processor (model exhibited at the Computex featured a i5-2500K) and up to 16 GB of memory. There are also 6 Gbps SATA connectors, four USB 3.0 ports, seven USB 2.0 and HDMI and DVI.

A graphics card PCI-Express 16x will take place within the housing, along with two hard drives in 3.5 inch format. A controller 7.1 audio completes the package. This leaves more to get the price of this mini PC ...

LGA1366 and X58 for SX58H7 Pro Shuttle

Shuttle has announced the launch of SX58H7 Pro, a mini PC barebones based on an X58 motherboard and therefore intended to accommodate on a Core i7 Socket LGA 1366. Showing the dimensions of 326 x 208 x 189 mm, barebone XPC has the cooling system ICE (Integrated Cooling Engine) of the manufacturer. Two PCI-Express 16x are available, the Pro is SX58H7 SLI and CrossFireX.

There are also four connectors DDR3-1600 (for up to 16 GB of memory), four SATA ports (two in 6 Gbps SATA) ports, two USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet controllers (x2) and 7.1 audio. A power of 500 watts is finally integrated into the barebone. Already available in Europe, the SX58H7 Pro is available at a suggested retail price of 444 euros.

A barebones all-in-one from Gigabyte

The manufacturer Gigabyte has unveiled its GB-AEBN, a barebones all-in-One based on a platform LGA 1155. Fully modular concept allows you to associate a motherboard in Mini-ITX in a slim optical drive and a SATA hard drive conventional 3.5-inch format. The size of the LCD has however not been disclosed.

H61 carrying a chipset, the motherboard comes with the GB-AEBN supports Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 displaying a TDP less or equal to 65W. It has two SO-DIMM slots DDR3-1333, Gigabit Ethernet controllers and audio ports, two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0. Two built-in speakers 3W are also available, along with a memory card reader.

Commodore 64 (bit): Sometimes

In August 2010, we learned that the Commodore 64 would return. And now, preorders are open. Commodore 64 "2011" has not 64 KB of RAM but 64-bit processor, a 1.8 GHz Atom D525. The machine supports DDR2 memory, integrated video chip "ION Next Gen", a GeForce 210 interfaced with PCI-Express 1x, and offers SATA, USB 2.0, HDMI and even a Blu- ray in the high-end version.

A version of "barebones" void, $ 250 is sold as several complete configurations exist: the first - with 160 GB disk and 2 GB of RAM - worth $ 600. For $ 700, you win a DVD drawer, Wi-Fi and a disk of 250 gigabyte model for $ 800 has 4 GB, 500 GB hard drive and a DVD slot-in and $ 900 , you win a Blu-ray and 1TB of hard drive.
