A Swedish company, People of Lava, in their view offers the first TV on Android, the Scandinavia. This TV is available in three diagonals - 42, 47 and 55 inches - LED backlight offers a Full HD and a refresh rate (artificial) of 100/120 Hz video portion includes a tuner DVB-T (TNT) a tuner DVB-C (cable) but also an analog tuner.
For part Android, Google TV is not being used, but a "distribution" Android specific, based on version 1.5 and ARM architecture, while TV is based on Google Android 2.1 in Intel. The TV provides access to Facebook, YouTube, Google Maps, etc.. and comes with a wireless keyboard. For the processor is a Samsung SoC (same as in the iPhone 3G) is used.
Based on a 833 MHz Cortex A8, it is expected to lead effectively the operating system. Applications - a dedicated online store - and a browser are also in the game. For video, a little weakness, the definition is limited to 1280 x 720, as on most ARM chips of that generation. It remains to see the price of this model and hope that the old version of Android will not cause compatibility problems.
