OCZ Technology has officially announced that it is the first SSD manufacturer who has successfully completed the transition to storage solutions based on NAND Flash 2Xnm, with the aim of reducing production costs of SSDs. "OCZ is constantly exploring new ways not only to advance the design of the SSD, but also to make its technology more affordable, while maintaining high performance standards and safety." Said Ryan Petersen, CEO of OCZ Technology.
"We are delighted to have completed the transition to the next generation of NAND 2Xnm components, which reiterates our strategy of producing high-performance SSD at attractive prices available to all users." OCZ continues to lead the way to reduce production costs of SSDs using 2Xnm technology, but technology continues to offer the old flash SSD products selected with a higher price per gigabyte.
The technology-based SSD 2Xnm have the same warranty as the previous 3Xnm, and the company's goal is to offer the best balance between affordability, performance and capacity.
