Corsair has announced that its Dominator DDR3 memory kit for ultra-high performance GT were used to set a new record in the benchmark MaxxMem, along with the new 2 nd generation of Intel processors (Sandy Bridge). The renowned overclockers "splmann" (Roger Tanner) and "Mat" (Matthias Zronek) have broken the record established MaxxMem 2711.5 marks a result, running the memories at 1148Mhz with latency CL7-7-6-21 Q1.
"We've already broken several records with the Corsair Dominator GT", said Roger Tanner and Matthias Zronet. "It's really impressive, these reports provide a lot of room and stability." The hardware used includes a motherboard Asus P8P67 WAS Revolution, an Intel Core i7 2600K, and one pair of Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 modules.
